                                 BIG NEWS!!!!!
The American Kennel Club has opened up its registration for mixed breed dogs. Once registered, you can compete at any AKC Companion or Performance Event, such as Agility, Obedience, Rally Obedience, Herding, Tracking and more. For more information, go to our Favorite Links page and and go to the AKC Canine Partners link.

The SMKC holds its club meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. The meeting times are at 7:00 p.m. and is held at the Marion Extended Care Conference Room, 1530 Cypress Way, Santa Maria. All are welcome to come and join us.

The SMKC sponsors the following dog obedience classes.

Bette Clancy teaches the following classes: Basic Obedience. This class is designed to teach basic obedience commands like sit, stay, down, come, and heel. Classes are Saturday's at Allan Hancock College starting at 11:00 am.
Classes are six weeks long.

Please call in advance to pre-register.

Bette has a new class starting on June 12th.

Bette also teaches an advanced Obedience class. This is designed for dogs that have completed their Novice (CD) and Open (CDX) titles and are working towards their Utility Dog Title (UD/UDX).

Classes are 12 weeks long. Contact Bette for more information.
